RESIDENTS COMPLAINTS – Acoustic correction of a boiler room. The noise generated by thermal power plants is a widespread problem in condominiums and residential complexes. The 5.12.97 D.P.C.M, “Buildings passive acoustic requirements “, provides for heating installations not to exceed in residential areas 35 dB (A) for intermittent services (lifts, bathrooms, drainage, faucets, toilets) and 25 dB (A) for continuous operation services (heating, air conditioning, ventilation).
2B Resine has successfully intervened in the ACOUSTIC CORRECTION OF A BOILER ROOM in a residential condominium. The perceived noise outside the building with the boiler and the pump running appeared to be greater than the threshold allowed by law.
After analyzing the collected data , 2B Resine has installed within the boiler room an acoustical barrier side-scrolling, constituted by a series of soundproof panels capable of reducing the direction of boiler / pump noise towards the outside.
